NTD Good Morning (Aug. 9): Ohio Voters Reject Constitution Change; SCOTUS Revives Biden’s Ghost Gun Regulation

In a move with major implications for abortion access, Ohio voters yesterday opted to reject stricter requirements for amending the state constitution. Many voters were driven by a planned November amendment that would enshrine abortion access in the state’s constitution.

Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has replaced his campaign manager, Generra Peck, ending weeks of speculation. He’s replacing her with his gubernatorial office chief of staff, James Uthmeier.

In a 5-to-4 decision on Tuesday, the Supreme Court allowed the Biden administration’s rule regulating so-called ghost guns to remain in place.
