Shen Yun Performing Arts captivated the audience on stage in Bergamo, Italy, on Jan. 22, on a journey through ancient China. Audience members said it felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
“It’s very poetic, it’s really beautiful. It’s like entering a fairy tale,” said Nicoletta Maragno, an actress.
“There is not only external energy but also internal energy, because there is great grace and harmony.”
“I liked everything so much, the costumes first of all and the orchestra. The costumes are beautiful, as well as the setting, the synchronicity of everything,” said Amalia Tibaldi, a business owner.
“A harmony of colors, magical both aesthetically and emotionally because it conveys something beyond. It was really wonderful,” said Marta Barbetta, a business owner.
“So exciting, and it really takes the audience in as well. In the sense that the audience is immersed within 360 degrees, both in terms of the dance and in terms of the set design,” said Pietro Ribaudo, an accountant.
Shen Yun’s mission is to revive China’s 5,000 years of traditional culture and values from before communism. Ancient Chinese people believed this culture was inspired by the Divine.
“It’s worth seeing, not only because of the greatness of these professionals, but also because of the profound message of harmony it leaves and the warmth in your heart the moment you see the show,” said Ms. Maragno.
“I think it’s a message of hope, of bringing forward not materialism as it is now prevailing all over the world, but how we can return again to something that is about man in his deep dimension, which is a Divine dimension,” said Franca Scalvini, the co-founder of a company.
“I believe the lightness, lightheartedness, and magic of this show are truly unique. If I had the chance to see it a second time, I think I would appreciate and experience it even more,” said Paola Perini, a doctor.
“I must say it is very exciting, and [Shen Yun] has fully represented this mission. Congratulations, it is a beautiful performance,” said Antonio Maria Stefanile, a financial advisor.
Shen Yun will be performing in Ancona, Italy, from Jan. 27 through Jan. 30.
