Biden: ‘We Shall Respond’ to Jordan Drone Strike That Killed 3 US Troops

President Joe Biden said on Sunday that the United States “shall respond” after a drone strike by an Iran-backed group killed 3 American troops and injured dozens more in an area of Jordan near the Syrian border.

Appearing at a political event in West Columbia, S.C., President Biden said that the United States had had a “tough day last night in the Middle East,” before telling the audience the administration would respond to the attack.
