Chinese in New York Commemorate COVID Whistleblower Dr. Li Wenliang

The Chinese diaspora in New York City, including international students, working professionals, and exiled dissidents, joined by Tibetans, Uyghurs, and Hongkongers, hold an event at 3:00 p.m. ET on Feb. 5 at Central Park to Commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Chinese Whistleblower of COVID-19, Dr. Li Wenliang’s passing away.

Dr. Li was alerted to COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic but got punished by Chinese authorities for speaking out and sadly passed away from the virus eventually.
