Explainer: 2nd Assassination Attempt on Trump

Authorities are investigating what appears to be the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

On Sept 15, Trump was at his golf resort in West Palm Beach, when a Secret Service agent spotted the barrel of a rifle pointing through the perimeter fence within 500 yards of Trump.

The incident occurred two months after Trump was injured in an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania.
