Filmmaker Praises The Epoch Times at AmFest 2023

Filmmaker and human rights activist Jason Jones talked about The Epoch Times at Turning Point USA’s AmFest 2023 on Dec. 18.

“Epoch Times is, to me, is not only the best newspaper we can read today, but I can’t, I don’t know when there was ever a better newspaper,” he said. “And not just the newspaper, but all of the magazines and everything that goes along with Epoch Times, and then the video content, the video programs. And to see how much you have grown. People have to put themselves in the shoes of the journalists and the producers and the executive team. That’s scary. That’s truly, truly, truly courageous. And because … I do similar work, I understand the true cost of courage. And that’s why I have an unbelievable admiration for everyone at Epoch Times.

“Epoch Times, is truly in solidarity [with], and they lend their voice to, the most vulnerable communities in the world. Like when there’s truly a vulnerable community, let’s say the [January 6] defendants. Okay, it’s not easy to stand with the J6 defendants, right? That takes a lot of courage.

“To stand up to the CCP [Chinese Communist Party], to maybe be truly the greatest threat that CCP faces, truly is Epoch Times.”
