Ford CEO to Striking UAW Workers: ‘We Can Stop This Now’

Bill Ford, CEO of Ford Motor Company, pleaded to striking United Auto Workers (UAW) union workers to work with management to end the strike, citing the overall health of the company during a Monday speech in Dearborn, Michigan, as contract talks continue.

“As the UAW strike against Ford continues, we are at a crossroads. Choosing the right path isn’t just about Ford’s future and our ability to compete. This is about the future of the American automobile industry,” said Mr. Ford, the great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford.
