‘He’ll Be Very Good’: Trump Comments on House Speaker Nominee Rep. Mike Johnson

Former President Donald Trump welcomed reports that Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) would be the next GOP nominee for speaker of the House, as he arrived at court in New York on Oct. 25 for the next day of his civil trial. “He’s a tremendous Congressman, respected by everybody,” President Trump said. “He’ll be very good.”
