Rubio Announces New Visa Restrictions on Foreign Nationals; Netanyahu Says Hamas Gaza Chief Killed
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday new visa restrictions against foreign nationals involved in censoring the speech of U.S. citizens. “For too long, Americans have been fined, harassed, and even charged by foreign authorities for exercising their free speech rights,” Rubio announced in a post on social media platform X.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas Gaza chief Mohammed Sinwar, one of its most wanted, and the younger brother of the deceased group’s leader, Yahya Sinwar, had been killed.
The United States and Argentina are calling on other nations to follow their lead in leaving the World Health Organization, after a meeting between U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Argentine President Javier Milei on Tuesday.
