RFK Jr., Makary Join Forum on Food Allergy Research, Innovation

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary joined the Food Allergy Fund on Nov. 17 in Washington for its Leadership Forum, a meeting aimed at uniting government, academia, philanthropy, and industry to address food allergies affecting 1 in 13 children and 1 in 10 adults.

The Forum also marked the announcement of the Food Allergy Fund’s Microbiome Collective, billed as a first-of-its-kind, multi-million-dollar collaboration bringing together leading research institutions to uncover the root causes of food allergies and related immune-driven diseases.
