Mail Theft Up 163% With Election Ballots Getting Caught Up, USPS Police Union Claims Officers Sidelined | Facts Matter
Unbeknownst to most people, even as the United States has moved more and more toward conducting elections by mail, many of the safeguards that kept our postal system safe have actually been eroding away.
More ballots are getting stolen, but it appears that, by and large, it is actually just a by-product of more mail as a whole getting stolen.
While it doesn’t necessarily mean that the system is so bad that election results are getting changed, let’s go over what we were able to find.
