Mauna Loa Volcano in Hawaii Erupts

The northeast rift zone fissure 3 on Mauna Loa of Hawaii as it erupts.

The United States Geological Survey’s camera is located roughly 1 mile east of the fissure and looks west.

Its last eruption was in 1984.
