President Donald Trump provided new details on Operation Absolute Resolve—the mission that led to the capture of former Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife—on Tuesday.

The CDC has announced major changes to its vaccine recommendations, reducing the number of shots advised for all children. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is moving to halt more than $10 billion in child care and social services funding to five states over concerns that benefits may have gone to non-citizens. The pause would affect California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and New York.
