State Department: We’re in Final Stages of a Cease-Fire Deal Between Israel and Hamas

Amid ongoing negotiations, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said at a Wednesday press conference that the Biden Administration believes it is in the “final stages” of a cease-fire deal between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group.

Miller also says the State Department is warning against any escalation of the conflict by either side or a third party.
