State Dept. Explains Why There ‘Hasn’t Been a Sufficient Amount of Aid Getting Through’ to Gaza

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller explained the reasons why humanitarian aid has been difficult to bring into Gaza at a Thursday press briefing in Washington. Mr. Miller provided a number of reasons for the difficulties in bringing fuel, medical supplies, and other aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, while he says the State Department continues to try to negotiate the release of the hostages taken by Hamas.
