Bahrain Announces $17B in US Deals; Trump to Sign Bill Cracking Down Illicit Drugs

Bahrain’s Prime Minister, Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalif announces plans to invest more than $17 billion in the United States during a meeting with President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

President Trump will host congressional leaders and families impacted by the opioid epidemic on Wednesday. He’ll be signing bipartisan legislation into law. It classifies fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I controlled substances.
