Trump Sets Terms Before Weekend Talks With Beijing; Newark Mayor Charged With Trespassing at ICE Site

President Donald Trump says he’s given instructions to his trade envoy ahead of this weekend’s talks with Beijing. While he’s calling on China to open its markets to the United States, he also says he’s fine with doing no business with China at all.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka has been arrested and charged with trespassing—after refusing to leave an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center earlier today. He was accompanied by a congressional delegation at the time.
