Trump–Putin Call Ends After 90 Minutes; Israel Consulted US on Gaza Strikes, White House Confirms

President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin for more than 90 minutes on Tuesday. The discussion was part of Trump’s efforts to convince his counterpart to accept a cease-fire in the Russia–Ukraine war and to move toward a more permanent end to the three-year conflict.

The United States was consulted on Monday by Israel regarding its deadly strikes in Gaza, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News’s “Hannity” show. “The Trump administration and the White House were consulted by the Israelis on their attacks in Gaza tonight,” Leavitt said during the interview.
