Trump Urges Other Nations to Secure Strait of Hormuz, Says US Gets Less Than 1 Percent of Oil From Strait | Capitol Report

President Donald Trump warns NATO allies that they need to step up if they want the Strait of Hormuz to open, adding that the United States doesn’t rely on it for oil.

Trump vows “unparalleled firepower” against Iran as U.S. forces continue intercepting Iran’s missiles and drones and striking the sites that manufacture them.

Trump declared the Iranian regime “obliterated,” saying the war will wrap up “soon.” This comes as the president is escalating pressure for other countries to help the U.S. reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
