This was a specific situation, not terrorism; the commanding officer of a training squadron at the base was shot by an airman in an apparent murder-suicide.

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that two are dead as a result of the shooting, with people still inside.

The sheriff’s office said the incident has been unfolding at the base, which is right off the freeway, since around 9 a.m.
