Jason Dalton, the suspected Kalamazoo, Michigan shooter, was an Uber driver who possibly picked up new clients in between a killing spree that killed six people.
Authorities said that Dalton dropped off a group of people at a hotel before going next door to shoot at two vehicles, 24 Hours News reports.
According to Facebook posts from Uber passengers who had driven with Dalton, he was involved in a hit-and-run crash and was driving recklessly before the shooting occurred.

“This man proceeded to drive 80 mph down West Main [St.] swerving in and out of oncoming traffic,” Mackenzie Waite wrote on Facebook. “Hoping this man will be arrested or hospitalized soon if he has a medical condition causing his behavior.”

Uber has released a statement on the Kalamazoo shooting spree, saying that they are “horrified and heartbroken.”
“We are reaching out to the police to help with their investigation in any way we can,” Uber said in a statement, according to 24 Hours News.
