Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock was out and about this weekend after taking some time from the public eye to handle personal issues.

First, she made a surprise appearance on Saturday at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards (airing June 20) to accept the Troop’s Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year.

Poking fun at her recent troubles, the actress said, “Let's be honest here, just for a moment. We're all going to be honest, right? Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular IED [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life?!"

Bullock also appeared at the Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards, where she accepted the MTV Generation Award.
