Summer Streets will open for the second week between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14. The city’s Department of Transportation will temporarily close Park Avenue and connecting streets from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park to cars. New Yorkers and tourists can then take to the street to run, play, walk, or bike and enjoy the city and the season in a unique way. Another Summer Street will take place at the same time on Saturday, Aug. 21.
