New York Giants’ running back Ahmad Bradshaw may miss Sunday’s game at New England with a foot injury.

When asked Thursday about his starting running back’s status Tom Coughlin said, according to the Giant’s website, “He has had issues in the past and he has played with a crack or whatever you want to call it in his foot. He has played that way in the past and we don’t know what the determination will be just yet.”

When asked about whether determination could mean surgery Coughlin said it would be up to the doctors to decide what to do.

In addition the Giants may also be without wide receiver Hakeem Nicks who has a hamstring injury. Said Nicks of his status, “If I have to sit out one week and come back the next, I would rather do that than being out for a while.”

The first-place Giants (5-2) have dealt with their fair share of injuries admirably this season but may need to be in top form to deal with the AFC-East leading Patriots (5-2).
