Grammy-award winning country singer Miranda Lambert is set to duet with Dia Frampton in the finale of this season’s "The Voice" on NBC.

‘The Voice’ is a new American reality TV talent show. It debuted on NBC on April 26, 2011 and is in its first season with a total run time of four weeks. The finals will be held on June 28, 2011, with results being announced a day later. The pre-final round of ‘The Voice’ concluded on NBC a week ago, and four artists – Dia Frampton, Vicci Martinez, Javier Colon and Beverley McClellan – were chosen as finalists from a total of eight artists.

27-year-old Miranda Lambert from Texas is a country singer who burst into fame as a finalist in the 2003 season of Nashville Star, another American reality TV program also on NBC. Even though that series ended in mid-2008, ‘Nashville Star’ has the distinction of being the longest-running competition series on cable TV.

After the show, Miranda Lambert went on to sign with Epic Records and release her debut album, "Kerosene," which was certified Platinum in the U.S. Lambert’s debut album has four singles, "Me and Charlie Talking", "Bring Me Down", "Kerosene", and "New Strings", all of which ended up in the top 40 in Billboard’s Country Songs charts.

Miranda Lambert produced another album called "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" in 2007, and "Revolution" in 2009, both of which sold well. Lambert has also won numerous awards, including the Best Female Country Vocal Grammys this year for her piece "The House That Built Me," and nine awards at the Academy of Country Music.

Dia Frampton, in contrast to Miranda Lambert, is a less known singer. Frampton, who is 23 years old and spent her childhood in Utah and Nevada, is the co-founder and lead singer of rock band ‘Meg & Dia’, which is named after her and her sister, Mia Frampton. The band now has a total of five members, and they briefly signed with Warner Bros. Records to release "Here, Here and Here" in 2009.
