He added that Chinese culture has a long history. Shen Yun’s presentation is based on the 5,000-year-old Chinese culture, aiming to preserve and promote authentic culture. He said that Shen Yun is important to Taiwan, especially at a time when Taiwan is faced with an ever-changing situation.
In addition to cultural implications, Mr. Liao also noted some details about the Shen Yun show. He said, "I think She Yun is one of the best in the world in terms of its choreography, props, costumes, and dance. What amazed me the most was the backdrops, as the design of 3-D animation made the audience feel as if they were in the scene. That’s marvelous.”
Talking about the act of Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution, he said, "Everyone is entitled to his or her own belief. The act demonstrated that firm belief can help persecuted people find a spiritual way out, so they were able to carry on their lives. That was very inspiring."
