‘Storage Wars’ Star Darrell Sheets Suffers Heart Attack, Posts Photo From Hospital

Darrell Sheets, star of reality TV show “Storage Wars,” was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack.

Sheets said he will have to undergo surgery, TMZ reported on March 12.

For the past three months, he has been quite sick, Sheets said. But last night, he suffered a mild heart attack and was hospitalized, according to the report.

He also said he has congestive heart failure and a lung issue.

“Well here we go I wasn’t going to say anything, but you all have been the greatest friends and fans,” he wrote on Facebook along with a photo of him in a hospital bed with his wife, Romney Snyder, according to TMZ.

He added: “Today I am having surgery so all your prayers would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for being there for me. It’s been a great #storagewars and as you can see Romney is right by my side. Love you Rom.”

According to Healthline, congestive heart failure “is a chronic progressive condition that affects the pumping power of your heart muscles,” and it’s sometimes only just referred to as “heart failure.”

“You have four heart chambers. The upper half of your heart has two atria, and the lower half of your heart has two ventricles. The ventricles pump blood to your body’s organs and tissues, and the atria receive blood from your body as it circulates back from the rest of your body. CHF develops when your ventricles can’t pump enough blood volume to the body,” according to the health website.

Other details about Sheets’ health scare are not clear.

Albert Finney, best known for his roles in “Skyfall” and “Tom Jones,” died at age 82 from a chest infection on Feb. 7 at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

Finney’s family said on Feb. 8 that the longtime actor “passed away peacefully after a short illness with those closest to him by his side.”
