News outlets that typically lean heavily against former President Donald Trump have been breaking ranks to criticize the charges brought against Trump in New York last week. Many note that despite their dislike of the former president, the case against him appears legally weak and politically motivated.
Meanwhile, Trump’s legal team has laid out its strategy against the indictment. They claim the case likely won’t even make it to trial. This is on top of increasing legal pressure against Attorney General Alvin Bragg, who elevated misdemeanor charges to felonies in order to charge Trump.
In this live Q&A with Crossroads host Joshua Philipp, we’ll discuss these stories and others, and answer questions from the audience.
