Kari Lake Starts to Challenge Maricopa County Election Results in Court

Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake’s trial against Maricopa County starts on May 17.

Lake has to prove that Maricopa County did not properly verify voter signatures on ballot envelopes during the 2022 midterm elections and that those problems changed the outcome of the race.
