America Skepticism Theory: Anti-American Propaganda and Its Impacts in Taiwan’s Information Environment–A GTI Event
In a conversation held by the Global Taiwan Institute (GTI) at 11:00 a.m. ET on Aug. 9, a group of experts and witnesses will discuss “America Skepticism Theory” in Taiwan, and “Anti-American Propaganda and Its Impacts in Taiwan’s Information Environment.”
Speakers:
Chihhao Yu, a software engineer and information designer, and co-director of the Taiwan Information Environment Research Center (IORG) based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Dr. Wei-Ping Li worked as a consultant in the field of digital human rights and worked as a journalist for Taiwanese media outlets.
Benjamin Sando, an M.A. student at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service who has spent the past year in Taiwan as a research fellow with DoubleThink Lab.
John Dotson, deputy director at GTI, will moderate the event.
