Taiwan’s Vice President Holds Banquet for Taiwanese Diaspora in New York

Taiwan’s Vice President William Lai hosts a banquet for Taiwanese diaspora in New York at 12 p.m. ET on Aug. 13 at his transit stop in New York on his way to Paraguay for the swearing-in of its president.

Mr. Lai, the presidential nominee of the Democratic Progressive Party and frontrunner of Taiwan’s presidential elections in January, arrived in New York on Aug. 12.
