Putin Says Trump Prosecution Shows ‘Rottenness’ of US System

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sept. 12 at the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, Russia, that the prosecution of former U.S. President Donald Trump was politically motivated and demonstrated the “rottenness” of the U.S. political system.
