White House Claims Biden was Forced to Allocate Money for the Trump Border Wall

White House Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre was bombarded with questions from reporters in Washington on Thursday after a 2019 rule provided money for the Trump-era border wall after years of President Joe Biden’s railing against it and amid a migrant humanitarian crisis in U.S. cities as well as border towns.

Reporters questioned whether or not the Biden administration could have stopped or stalled the financing. Jean-Pierre reiterated that Biden believes a border wall would be ineffective.
