Video Captures People Fleeing After Car Crashes into Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, Driver Shot Dead by Police

Video footage shows people rushing out of the Chinese consulate in San Francisco on Monday afternoon, after a driver plowed their car into the lobby of the building’s visa office. Police said law enforcement officials shot the driver, who later died in hospital. The identity of the driver and what precipitated the crash are not yet known, according to the police. Officials did not mention anyone else being injured in the incident.
