‘It’s Rare’: Space Enthusiasts Prepare for Saturday’s Annular Eclipse

Eclipse enthusiasts from near and far gather outside New Mexico’s International Balloon Fiesta grounds, ahead of the annular solar eclipse expected on Oct. 14. For several days now, travelers have been setting up camp in their RVs and trailers. The eclipse will be visible in parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America, according to NASA.
