Video: Hostages Released by Hamas Brought to Medical Facility in Rafah

Hamas released 24 hostages on Friday who had been held captive in Gaza for weeks, while Israel freed 39 Palestinians from prison in the first stage of a swap under a four-day cease-fire deal.

Among those freed are 13 Israelis, 10 people from Thailand, and one from the Philippines, according to the government of Qatar, which helped broker the agreement.

The hostages were handed over to Red Cross workers, who took them across the border from Gaza into Egypt at Rafah—where they were brought to a medical facility.
