Boston Celebrates Tea Party’s 250th Anniversary With Reenactment

Boston commemorated the 250th anniversary of its landmark Tea Party on Dec. 16 with a five-part reenactment spanning different locations in the city. The historic event was a response to a tax on tea imposed by the British Empire, and reenforced by the Tea Act of 1773.
