US Appeals Court Hears Arguments in Trump Immunity Appeal

A U.S. appeals court in Washington will hold oral arguments on former President Donald Trump’s claim that he is immune from charges in the federal case accusing him of illegally attempting to overturn his defeat in the 2020 election. President Trump is expected to attend the hearing. The hearing will be held at 8:15 a.m. ET on Jan. 9.
