Trump Decries Not Being Allowed to Speak During Trial’s Closing Arguments
Before closing arguments were made in his civil fraud trial in New York, former President Donald Trump expressed his disappointment at the judge’s ruling to not allow him to speak on his own behalf during the day’s proceedings. He also restated his criticisms of the trial and prosecutors.
“I want to speak, I want to make the summation,” President Trump said. “At this moment, the judge is not letting me make the summation, because I’ll bring up things that he doesn’t want to hear.”
