Formerly Homeless: Here’s Why San Francisco Can’t Solve the Homelessness Crisis
The homeless crisis in San Francisco is not getting better despite millions of dollars spent on services provided by the city.
We sit down with an experienced recovery advocate, Tom Wolf, who himself was once homeless. He talks about how he fell into homelessness and what brought him out of the dark. More importantly, he explains why the city is having a hard time reducing homelessness and what lies ahead for San Francisco.
Mr. Wolf was involved in a car accident in 2012 and during recovery, became addicted to painkillers and later heroin. In order to keep up his drug habit, he sold his house and lost his family. He even turned into a drug dealer in order to maintain his addiction.
Join us and learn about this amazing transformation and first-hand experience in today’s San Francisco homeless and drug crisis.
