Kevin Sorbo on ‘The Firing Squad’: ‘We Are Gonna Save America’

“The Firing Squad” is inspired by the true story of drug dealers who found redemption and faith in Christ within the walls of an international prison. They face execution by firing squad due to their crimes but emerge victorious in the end.

The film shows that anyone on earth can be redeemed by Jesus and face death in a courageous way. The redemption of the prisoners leads the entire prison camp to Christ in the end. Starring James Barrington, Kevin Sorbo, and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Mr. Sorbo has an important message for the audience:

“I’m actor Kevin Sorbo and I have an extremely important message for you. Over my career, I’ve done over 50 movies, but for the first time ever, I’ll be in movie theaters this August 2 leading audiences in a prayer to commit their lives to Jesus Christ. Mr. Sorbo was canceled by Hollywood because of his Christian beliefs. Despite this setback, he has doubled down on his commitment to Christian projects. One such project is “The Firing Squad.”

“This movie tells the incredible true story of Christians who face death in a third-world prison and convert the entire prison camp to Christ. I’ve seen audiences so deeply moved by this movie that I’ve decided to do something I’ve never done before –after the climactic end of the movie, I come on screen and invite the audience to accept Jesus,” he said.
