Live View of New York Court Where Jury Continues Deliberations in Trial of Former US Marine

The judge continues deliberations on Dec. 9 on the trial of Daniel Penny, a former U.S. Marine, over the death of Jordan Neely, a homeless man who died after Penny restrained him on a New York City subway car.

The judge dismissed the most serious charge on Dec. 6 but said the jury could proceed to consider a lesser count of criminally negligent homicide, which carries a maximum sentence of four years.
