Dr. Jay Bhattacharya Receives Award From Brownstone Institute, Delivers Remarks

At the annual Brownstone Institute conference and gala, founder Jeffrey Tucker presents awards to Tom Harrington, Bret Weinstein, and National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya for being champions of free speech and independent thought during the COVID-19 period.

Tucker, a senior economics columnist at The Epoch Times, founded the Brownstone Institute in May 2021 in response to the impact of COVID-19-era policies, from censorship to lockdowns to medical mandates.

It aimed to provide a sanctuary for free-thinking individuals to share ideas and viewpoints openly during a time of intense information control. It continues to bring together a diverse group of thinkers and writers who value liberty and the voluntary interaction of individuals and groups, free from coercion.
