President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday to pay Transportation Security Administration agents amid the shutdown standoff. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), paychecks could arrive as soon as Monday.

This comes as House Republicans rejected a Senate bill to fund the DHS—excluding ICE and parts of Customs and Border Protection—and instead proposed a new continuing resolution to fund the department in full.
