California’s unofficial primary election results show Republican Steve Hilton leading with nearly 28 percent of the votes, and Democrat Xavier Becerra coming in a close second at 25 percent in a tight race to succeed Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Iran attacks Kuwait International Airport with drones, killing at least one person, injuring others, and causing a temporary closure of the airfield. The latest attack tests the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, as Trump said negotiations with Tehran were continuing.
