The U.S. Navy lifted its blockade of Iranian ports, U.S. Central Command announced in a post on X Thursday. The announcement came after Vice President JD Vance told reporters at a White House briefing that more than 12.5 million barrels of oil moved through the Strait of Hormuz overnight, and gas prices dropped below $4 a gallon Thursday.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) charged 15 people—11 of them illegal immigrants—for allegedly stealing more than $1.4 million in benefit fraud in Massachusetts. These programs include Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) food assistance, MassHealth, Social Security disability payments, housing assistance, and unemployment benefits, the DOJ reports.

Thousands of Knicks fans pack the streets of New York City for a historic ticker-tape parade following their first NBA championship in 53 years. Jalen Brunson, Knicks captain and NBA Championship MVP, thanked his team and fans at the parade and got emotional when giving thanks to his family. “Without them, their sacrifice and everything—wouldn’t be possible,” he said.
