America vs ICC: The Fight Over Global Law

Imagine a legal system where laws are shared—globally. If America passes a law, that law is enforced in France. If Bangladesh passes a law, it’s enforced in Nigeria. If China passes a law, it’s enforced in the United States. The strictest standard for speech becomes the global norm. Global law is decided by the most repressive state.

This may sound like science fiction. But to an extent, it is already happening.
