Total Solar Eclipse Visible Across Parts of Europe, North America

A total solar eclipse will be visible across parts of Greenland, Iceland, Spain, and the Atlantic Ocean beginning at 1:15 p.m. ET on Aug. 12.

A partial solar eclipse is visible across most of Europe and parts of North America.

Totality begins at 1:45 p.m. ET (5:45 p.m. UTC) in Iceland and at 2:28 p.m. ET (6:28 p.m. UTC) in Spain. The livestream features live views from multiple cameras along the eclipse path, along with information about eclipse science and ongoing research.
