The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been claiming there are few or no new cases of the CCP virus, COVID-19, in China yet has also been actively suppressing reporting on new cases.

As it plans to end quarantines and reopen factories, researchers warn that China faces the risk of a second wave outbreak.
