Fauci and Collins Hide Behind Gain-of-Function Definition in Congressional Deposition | Truth Over News

Two of the U.S. government’s most senior and highly paid officials were deposed in Congress last week about COVID-19. We’re talking of course about Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins, the two people most responsible for the catastrophic COVID response, authoritarian lockdowns, unscientific masks, vaccine mandates, and for seeding the pandemic in the first place.

While congressional Republicans very regrettably—although not unexpectedly—botched the depositions in terms of getting to the truth of COVID’s origin and the subsequent cover-up, we did learn something very important. And that is Fauci’s and Collins’ defense strategy.

Both men have decided to conceal their misdeeds by redefining the meaning of the term ‘gain-of-function.’ We’ll show that not only is their strategy completely dishonest, it also has its roots in a dirty trick that was pulled a few days before Donald Trump was sworn in as president in 2017.
